Foodservice Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 4 Hungry Planet Beef™ BurgersBuy Now
  • 4, 8-inch flour tortillas
  • 2 cups lettuce, chopped
  • 4 tablespoons onion, diced
  • ½ cup tomatoes, chopped
  • ½ cup sliced dill pickles
  • 3 teaspoons sesame seeds
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon yellow mustard
  • 2 tablespoons pickle relish
  • 1 teaspoon vinegar
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ⅓ teaspoon pepper
  • 1⅓ tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder

Instructions:

  • Step 1.

    In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of oil over medium-high heat until lightly smoking. Fry patties for 2 to 3 minutes on each side. Cut patties into long strips. Keep warm.

  • Step 2.

    While patties are cooking, assemble the Big Mak Sauce. In a medium bowl mix together ½ cup vegan mayonnaise, 1 teaspoon yellow mustard, 2 tablespoons pickle relish, 1 teaspoon vinegar, ½ teaspoon salt, ⅓ teaspoon pepper, 1⅓ tablespoons ketchup, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, and ½ teaspoon onion powder.

  • Step 3.

    Heat tortillas according to the package, cover and hold warm.

  • Step 4.

    On a plate, place warm tortilla, 3 tablespoons big mak sauce, 1⁄2 cup lettuce, 1 tablespoons onion, 2 tablespoons chopped tomato, dill pickle slices, 1 sliced burger patty. Top with toasted sesame seeds and wrap.
