Foodservice Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 4 Hungry Planet Crab™ Cakes
  • 14 oz artichoke hearts
  • ½ cup red bell pepper, chopped
  • ⅓ cup scallions
  • 1 cup plant-based cream cheese*
  • ½ cup plant-based sour cream*
  • ¼ cup plant-based mayonnaise*
  • 2 tbsp garlic, minced
  • 1 lemon juiced and zested
  • 1 tsp tarragon
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 ½ cups plant-based cheddar cheese
  • 8 oz tortilla chips, crackers, etc
  • * Please use whatever products you have in your kitchen; plant-based ingredients are just what we have in ours.

Instructions:

  • Step 1.

    In a large skillet, heat 2 tbsp oil over medium-high heat until lightly smoking. Fry patties for 2-3 minutes each side or until cooked through entirely. Crumble Hungry Planet Crab™ Cakes into large bowl.

  • Step 2.

    Add all the remaining dip ingredients to the crumbled crab. Mix all ingredients together. Taste for seasoning.

  • Step 3.

    Pour into a heat-safe serving dish (or bread bowl). Top with cheddar cheese. Bake in a 350°F oven until cheese has melted and begins to bubble (5-6 minutes).

  • Step 4.

    Serve with tortillas chips, bread, crackers, or sliced veggies.
