Foodservice Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 4 tbsp Olive oil
  • 2 cups sliced yellow onion
  • 2 cups chopped red bell pepper
  • 1 cup diced peeled carrots
  • 1 1/2 cups raw sliced brussel sprouts
  • 2 tbsp raw chopped garlic
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 4 tsp Poultry seasoning Prudhomme
  • 1 lb Hungry Planet Chicken Strips
  • 3 cups brown cooked rice
  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • * Please use whatever products you have in your kitchen; plant-based ingredients are just what we have in ours.

Instructions:

  • Step 1.

    Heat oil over medium heat in large pan.

  • Step 2.

    Add onions, peppers, and brussel sprouts and cook until onions start to become translucent (5 minutes).

  • Step 3.

    Add garlic, salt and all the spices and cook until aromatic (2 minutes).

  • Step 4.

    Add Hungry Planet Grilled Chicken Strips™ and cook until reheated (3 minutes).

  • Step 5.

    Add cooked rice and stir to combine. Add vinegar and lemon juice and stir. Taste for seasoning. Serve hot.
