NYC St. Patrick’s Day Celebration

Gracie Mansion, New York, New York

Another world first plant-based meat assortment featuring Hungry Planet!

Hungry Planet supported NYC Mayor Eric Adams’ advocacy for healthy plant-based eating by serving at Gracie Mansion a full range of plant-based meats during his St. Patrick’s Day celebration for city leaders.

Working with Gracie Mansion’s culinary team, nutritious Hungry Planet® meats were swapped for conventional meat in four traditional Irish favorites that have been served for generations:

Shepherd’s Pie made with Hungry Planet Beef
Guinness-Glazed Meatballs hand-crafted with Hungry Planet Chicken
Handheld Pork-Style Bangers and Mash made with Hungry Planet Pork and a zesty mustard sauce
Spicy Beans and Chorizo Toast with Hungry Planet Chorizo

These plant-based meat versions of traditional favorites delighted several hundred guests with the authentic taste and texture of their beloved dishes.

A big thanks to Mayor Adams and his extraordinary culinary team at Gracie Mansion for inviting us to be part of your celebration. We are grateful for how you’re leading the way to healthier food choices for your city, and, by your example, for the rest of the world.
