Foodservice Recipe


  • 3 tablespoons vegan butter
  • ¾ cup carrots, chopped
  • ½ celery, chopped
  • ¾ cup onion, chopped
  • 1 cup mushrooms, diced
  • 2 cups potatoes, diced
  • 7 cups vegan chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon thyme, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons sage, chopped
  • 10 ounce Hungry Planet Chicken™ Grilled StripsBuy Now
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • Chopped green onions for garnish
  • 2 cups Bisquick Biscuit mix
  • ⅔ cup oat milk
  • 2 tablespoons green onions, chopped finely

  • Step 1.

    Biscuits: In a small mixing bowl, add Bisquick mix, oat milk, and green onion. Mix until well incorporated and set aside.

  • Step 2.

    Broth: Heat a medium-sized stockpot on medium-high heat and add butter. Once hot, add carrots, onions, celery, and mushrooms. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add potatoes, broth, thyme, and sage. Cover and cook for 20 minutes on medium heat. After 20 minutes, add Hungry Planet Chicken™. Spoon ¼ cup of dumplings on top of the broth. Cover and cook an additional 8 minutes or until dumplings are cooked through. Add salt and pepper, and adjust seasoning to taste.

  • Step 3.

    To serve, spoon into bowls, and top with chopped green onions.
