Foodservice Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 8 ounce Hungry Planet Pork™ Plant-Based GroundBuy Now
  • ½ tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ cup red onion, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons garlic clove, finely minced
  • ¼ cup diced celery
  • 1 cup raw cabbage
  • ⅓ cup red bell pepper, chopped
  • ½ cup chopped green bell pepper
  • 1 cup chopped broccoli
  • 1 cup diced zucchini
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 4 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • ½ tablespoon cornstarch
  • ½ tablespoon water

Instructions:

  • Step 1.

    Mix the Hungry Planet Pork™ and the cajun seasoning.

  • Step 2.

    Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and coat with 2 tablespoons of oil per pound of pork. Pinch off tablespoon-size pieces of pork and place them on a prepared baking sheet. Bake in a preheated 400°F degree oven for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes flip over and bake another 5 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. When done take out and set aside.

  • Step 3.

    In a large skillet, heat the olive oil and remainder of the vegetable oil over medium heat.

  • Step 4.

    Add onions, garlic, and celery cooking for 2 to 3 minutes.

  • Step 5.

    Add cabbage, red and green peppers sauté for 2 to 3 minutes.

  • Step 6.

    Add broccoli florets, zucchini, yellow squash, and carrots cook for 2 to 3 minutes.

  • Step 7.

    Stir vegetables occasionally.

  • Step 8.

    Stir soy sauce and brown sugar into vegetables.

  • Step 9.

    Combine cornstarch with cold water and stir until smooth.

  • Step 10.

    Stir cornstarch mixture into vegetables and cook for 2 minutes.

  • Step 11.

    Add the cooked noodles and toss them together. Cook for 2 minutes or until noodles is hot.
