  • 12 oz Hungry Planet Beef™ Plant-Based GroundBuy Now
  • 8 ounce macaroni, penne, rigatoni noodles, cooked per package directions
  • 1½ tablespoons olive oil
  • 1½ cups zucchini, sliced
  • 1 cup onions, chopped
  • 1 cup green peppers
  • 3 cups tomato sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 teaspoons crushed red pepper flakes
  • 6 sprigs Basil, fresh, chopped


  • Step 1.

    Season the Hungry Planet Beef™️ with salt and pepper. Pinch off onto a sheet pan sprayed with pan spray and bake for 15 minutes on 425°F.

  • Step 2.

    While Hungry Planet Beef™ is cooking in the oven, in a large skillet, heat olive oil until lightly smoking. Add onions and green peppers and sauté for 3 minutes. Add garlic and cook for another minute.

  • Step 3.

    Add zucchini and saute for 2-3 minutes.

  • Step 4.

    Add tomato sauce, crushed red pepper flakes, and Italian seasoning. Turn heat down and let simmer for 12 minutes.

  • Step 5.

    Stir in cooked pasta and Hungry Planet Beef™. Return to a simmer for 1 minute and serve hot.
