Korean Beef and Vegetables Stir Fry

Foodservice Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup Soy sauce, low sodium
  • 4 tbsp Brown sugar, packed
  • 4 tsp Oil, sesame
  • 2 tsp Sambal Olek
  • 2 tsp Garlic clove, finely minced
  • 2 tbsp Ginger root, raw
  • 4 cups Vegetable, stir fry blend
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 Cups Hungry Planet Beef™

Instructions:

  • Step 1.

    In a large bowl, combine 1/2 cup soy sauce, 4 tbsp brown sugar, 4 tsp sesame oil, 2 tsp sambal olek, 2 tsp minced garlic, and 2 tbsp grated ginger. Reserve this sauce for step 4.

  • Step 2.

    Heat a non-stick pan over medium high heat. Add 1 qt vegetables and 2 tbsp water. Cook until tender crisp, 3-5 minutes. Season with salt & pepper. Remove from pan.

  • Step 3.

    Add drizzle of oil to the empty stir fry pan and heat until smoking. Add crumbled Hungry Planet ground beef. Saute until browned, about 3-5 minutes.

  • Step 4.

    Stir sauce into beef and heat thoroughly. Add vegetables to the beef and mix, or serve beef and vegetables side-by-side.
