Loaded Taco Pizza

Foodservice Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 12 oz Hungry Planet Beef™ Plant-Based GroundBuy Now
  • 2 tsp vegetable oil
  • 1 ½ tsp chili powder
  • ½ tsp cumin
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp pepper
  • 1 cup salsa - restaurant style
  • 4 individual pizza crusts
  • ⅓ cup vegan pepper jack cheese*
  • ⅓ cup vegan nacho cheese*
  • ⅔ cups shredded lettuce
  • ⅓ cup tomatoes, chopped
  • ⅓ cup black olives, sliced
  • * Please use whatever products you have in your kitchen; vegan ingredients are just what we have in ours.

Instructions:

  • Step 1.

    Preheat oven to 425°F

  • Step 2.

    In large nonstick skillet, heat 2 tsp vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add 12 oz Hungry Planet Beef™ and cook until well browned, about 5 minutes. Add 1 ½ tsp chili powder, ½ tsp cumin, ½ tsp salt, ¼ tsp pepper, and ½ cup salsa. Cook another 2 minutes or until mixture is hot.

  • Step 3.

    Assemble pizzas. Per pizza, add about 2 tbsp of the remaining salsa on the crust, top with about 4 oz beef mixture, 2 tbsp pepper jack cheese. Bake in oven for 9 minutes.

  • Step 4.

    Drizzle 2 tbsp of nacho cheese sauce on top. Add 1⁄4 cup lettuce, 2 tbsp tomatoes, and 2 tbsp black olives. Repeat with rest of pizzas. Serve.
