Foodservice Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 teaspoon canola oil
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil, salad or cooking
  • 6 ounce Hungry Planet Pork™ Plant-Based GroundBuy Now
  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • ½ teaspoon raw garlic, minced
  • ¾ teaspoon raw ginger root, minced
  • 3 tablespoons scallion onions, chopped
  • 1 pound medium-grained white rice, cooked
  • 1⅓ cups frozen peas and carrots
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 vegan egg, scrambled, chopped

Instructions:

  • Step 1.

    Combine 1 teaspoon of canola and 1 teaspoon of sesame oil. Heat half of the oil over high heat.

  • Step 2.

    Break the 6 ounce Hungry Planet Pork™ into bite-size pieces and stir-fry in the smoking hot oil until lightly browned, about 3 minutes. Remove from pan.

  • Step 3.

    Add remaining oil to pan. Add ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes, ½ teaspoon garlic, ¾ teaspoon ginger, and 3 tablespoons scallions. Stir-fry for 1 minute.

  • Step 4.

    Add 1 pound cooked rice and stir-fry until rice is hot.

  • Step 5.

    Add 1⅓ cups peas and carrots, 2 tablespoons soy sauce, chopped scrambled vegan egg, and stir-fried pork. Stir-fry until hot.
