Foodservice Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 tsp canola oil
  • ½ tsp garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp ginger root, minced
  • 1 cup scallion, thinly sliced
  • 1 lb Hungry Planet Pork™ Plant-Based GroundBuy Now
  • ¼ cup peanuts
  • ¼ cup hoisin sauce
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice wine vinegar
  • 3 tsp sriracha
  • ½ cup water chestnuts, chopped
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ⅓ tsp pepper
  • 1 head butter lettuce
  • ½ cup scallions, thinly sliced for garnish

Instructions:

  • Step 1.

    Heat oil in a wok or skillet until smoking.

  • Step 2.

    Add ½ tsp garlic, 1 tbsp ginger, 1 cup scallion and stir-fry for 1 minute. Immediately add Hungry Planet Pork™ and continue to stir-fry for 3-5 minutes.

  • Step 3.

    Add ¼ cup peanuts, ¼ cup hoisin sauce, 2 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tbsp rice wine vinegar, 3 tsp sriracha, ½ cup water chestnuts, 1 tsp salt and ⅓ tsp pepper. Cook for another 3 minutes. Adjust seasoning with salt and vinegar if needed.

  • Step 4.

    Separate lettuce leaves, top with pork and garnish with scallions.
