  • 8 ounce Hungry Planet Italian Sausage™ MeatballsBuy Now
  • 2 packs Jumbo Biscuits

  • 8 ounce mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 100% cotton kitchen twine

Instructions:

  • Step 1.

Preheat oven to 375 ℉. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  • Step 2.

In a medium-sized skillet, cook Hungry Planet Italian Sausage™️ Meatballs per package instructions.

  • Step 3.

Add 2 cups of marinara sauce to the meatballs and coat well.

  • Step 4.

Remove biscuits from the package. Cup your hand over each biscuit, pressing and rolling lightly in a. circular motion until the dough is about 4 ½ inches in diameter, like a tortilla.

  • Step 5.

Add 1 teaspoon of mozzarella to middle of dough.

  • Step 6.

Cut the meatballs in half and place half of a meatball on top of the mozzarella.

  • Step 7.

Carefully pinch the middle section of the dough together and then bring up the sides, sealing the center. Turn the pumpkin over and rough out each biscuit.

  • Step 8.

To shape the biscuits using string, take a long piece of string and find the halfway point. Place the halfway point on top of the ball of dough and flip the whole thing over. Pull the two pieces of string together and cross them over to create a cross on the bottom of the ball. Flip it over again and do the same thing until the ball is divided into 8 equal pieces. Tie the string at the top and cut off any excess. Do not tie the string too tight, otherwise it will be difficult to remove the string after baking.

  • Step 9.

Place pumpkins on the baking sheet and brush each with melted butter.

  • Step 10.

Bake for 20-22 minutes, or until golden brown.

  • Step 11.

Carefully remove kitchen string and place rosemary leaves on top of each roll to resemble a stem. Serve warm.
