Foodservice Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 12 oz Hungry Planet Beef™ Plant-Based GroundBuy Now
  • 2 tablespoons of canola oil
  • ½ teaspoon of salt
  • ½ teaspoon of pepper
  • ½ cup barbecue sauce, sweet and smokey
  • 4 buns
  • Lettuce
  • ½ tomato thinly sliced
  • ½ cup white barbecue sauce
  • ½ cup vegan blue cheese
  • * Please use whatever products you have in your kitchen; plant-based ingredients are just what we have in ours.

Instructions:

  • Step 1.

    Preheat a gas or charcoal grill to 375℉.

  • Step 2.

    In a large bowl, combine Hungry Planet Beef™, salt, and black pepper. Mix, until well combined. Once mixed, portion into 3 oz patties. Place patties on 375°F grill and cook for 3 minutes on both sides.

  • Step 3.

    After burgers are cooked on both sides, lightly baste with smokey bbq sauce, and cook on each side for about 30 seconds. Remove from the grill and assemble burgers.

  • Step 4.

    To assemble, add lettuce and tomato to each bun. Top with one pattie and add pour the white bbq sauce on top, followed by vegan blue cheese.
