Foodservice Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 pounds Hungry Planet Chicken™ Plant-Based GroundBuy Now
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 2 teaspoons kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 12 - 6” pre-made pizza crusts
  • 1½ cups barbecue sauce
  • 20 ounce can pineapple chunks, well drained
  • 4 tablespoons jalapeños, finely diced
  • 1½ cups vegan cheese
  • ½ cup red onions, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups fresh cilantro, roughly chopped
  • * Please use whatever products you have in your kitchen; vegan ingredients are just what we have in ours.

Instructions:

  • Step 1.

    Preheat oven to 425°F.

  • Step 2.

    In a large mixing bowl combine 2 pounds Hungry Planet Chicken™ with 1 tablespoon smoked paprika, 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper, 2 teaspoons kosher salt, 1 teaspoon black pepper, and 1 tablespoon garlic powder.

  • Step 3.

    Assemble pizza. Start with crust, add 2 teaspoons barbecue sauce, and small chunks of “raw chicken”, 5 to 6 chunks pineapples, 2 tablespoons onion, 1 teaspoon jalapeños, and 2 tablespoons vegan mozzarella. Bake pizza for 9 to 12 minutes.

  • Step 4.

    Top pizza with 1 tablespoon fresh cilantro. Repeat for all pizzas. Serve hot.
