Big Mak Wrap

Foodservice Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 4 Hungry Planet Beef™ PattiesBuy Now
  • 4, 8 inch flour tortillas
  • 2 cups lettuce, chopped
  • 4 tbsp onion, diced
  • ½ cup tomatoes, chopped
  • ½ cup sliced dill pickles
  • 3 tsp Sesame seeds
  • ½ cup plant-based mayonnaise*
  • 1 tsp yellow mustard
  • 2 tbsp pickle relish
  • 1 tsp vinegar
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ⅓ tsp pepper
  • 1 ⅓ tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • * Please use whatever products you have in your kitchen; plant-based ingredients are just what we have in ours.

Instructions:

  • Step 1.

    In a large skillet, heat 2 tbsp oil over medium-high heat until lightly smoking. Fry patties for 2-3 minutes each side. Cut patties into long strips. Keep warm.

  • Step 2.

    While patties are cooking, assemble the Big Mak Sauce. In medium bowl mix together ½ cup vegan mayonnaise, 1 tsp yellow mustard, 2 tbsp pickle relish, 1 tsp vinegar, ½ tsp salt, ⅓ tsp pepper, 1 ⅓ tbsp ketchup, 1 tsp garlic powder, and ½ tsp onion powder.

  • Step 3.

    Heat tortillas according to the package, cover and hold warm.

  • Step 4.

    On a plate, place warm tortilla, 3 tablespoons big mak sauce, 1⁄2 cup lettuce, 1 tablespoons onion, 2 tablespoons chopped tomato, dill pickle slices, 1 sliced burger patty. Top with toasted sesame seeds and wrap.
